Mazzella Companies Cleveland hosted two Certified Inspector courses for employees and customers whose job requires them to inspect wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic web slings, alloy chain slings and rigging hardware.

Mazzella Companies Cleveland hosted two Certified Inspector courses for employees and customers whose job requires them to inspect wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic web slings, alloy chain slings and rigging hardware. A total of 70 attendees went through both classes, included was 45 Mazzella Companies employees. We employee more than 90 certified inspectors. These courses are also designed for people performing proof testing and supervisory persons who must oversee these activities within their organization.

Mazzella Lifting Technologies provided nylon slings to help in the construction of the “Collier Memorial”. The memorial is being built in Boston to commemorate fallen officer, Sean A. Collier, and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Collier, and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Officer Collier was one of the four people allegedly killed by the Boston Marathon bombers.

J. Henry Holland had the privilege of being invited to the Keel Laying Ceremony at Newport News Shipbuilding for the Virginia-Class Washington (SSN-787) attack submarine.

Larry Lusk (Account Manager) and Pete Kelly (General Manager) had the privilege of being invited to the Keel Laying Ceremony at Newport News Shipbuilding for the Virginia-Class Washington (SSN-787) attack submarine. A keel laying is the symbolic beginning of building the ship, originating from the large structural beam (or keel) that serves as the foundation or spine of the ship’s hull. Although modular construction techniques mean that the ship is no longer built from the bottom up, the keel laying is still celebrated as a momentous event in the ship’s construction.

Mazzella Companies joined forces to tackle a significant scoreboard upgrade at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The upgrade required service and an assortment of rigging products to dead hang the scoreboard from the structure!
