Hilman Rollers are low-profile, high-capacity moving devices that offer a multitude of moving applications. Ranging in size from small machinery to entire bridges, buildings and offshore oil rigs, Hilman Rollers have moved some of the largest objects in the world.
All Hilman Rollers utilize the endless chain principle, which features a chain of steel rolls capable of rotating about a central load-bearing, steel plate. The result is a product that performs as a low-friction, high-capacity conveyor. Often referred to as Rollers, Dollies, Skates, Machinery Movers and Turtles, Hilman has become a brand name when referring to this type of equipment. All Hilman Rollers are rated in metric tons and carry a safety factor of at least 2-to-1.
Hilman Rollers Prepackaged Kits & Sets
The difference between a Kit and a Set of Hilman Rollers is the Kit Box. Deluxe Riggers Sets come with a box that is used to store the various components of the Set. The idea here is to keep everything together neat and under lock-and-key if desired. Deluxe Riggers Sets always have a ‘K’ in the prefix (KRS or KNRS) to indicate that the Kit Box is included.
All Hilman Rollers Deluxe Riggers Kits and Riggers Sets come with a limited 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. Bull Dolly Kits and Sets come with a 1-year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
There are hundreds of different models of individual Hilman Rollers. Standard Hilman Roller model capacities range from 1/2-Ton to 1,000-Tons. If you require capacity in excess of 1,000-metric tons from a single, individual Hilman Roller, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your application in greater depth. There are several different models available with the same capacity, different dimensions and suitable for specific applications.
Some things, in general, to remember about Hilman Rollers:
- All Hilman Rollers are rated in metric tons.
- Nearly all Hilman Rollers can be used inverted with the load-bearing plate below the contact surface.
- All Standard Hilman Rollers carry at least a 1-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
- All Hilman Rollers models have been tested and, under ideal conditions when under load, maintain a coefficient of better than 5%.
