Things to Consider When Designing a Custom Lifting Device Checklist and Design Sheet

Avoid Surprise Costs, Multiple Rounds of Revisions, and Unnecessary Delays to Production

Some products just can't be bought off the shelf or purchased out of a catalog... When you buy a below-the-hook lifting device—whether it’s a lifting beam, coil hook, tongs, or something else—you’re most likely going to end up with a customized solution.

Multiple rounds of revisions can add significant costs and delay the production and delivery timeline—both of which can be avoided if you provide as much information as possible during the consultation / quotation process.

When you have a clear understanding of the job the lifting device needs to perform, the environment it will be used in, and how often it will be in use, then there won’t be any surprises when it comes time for you to sign off on the approval drawings.
